2020 is coming to an end and we decided to talk with the leaders of international children's book projects about how each of them coped with challenges and force majeure, what new decisions were made, how they influenced the life of fairs and festivals, and also what all this is important to preserve for 2021.

Professionals from the book industry, experience this time differently and come out with dissimilar results for any previous year. We may disagree on which epithets or concepts most accurately convey the experience of 2020, but almost everyone agrees that this year is special in the life of the book industry.

Cancellation and postponement of book fairs, mastering the digital format, revising the dates and methods of book events, new approaches to working with the audience, new way of networking - all this is part of the current agenda in the professional world of book publishing and bookselling.
