The Moscow International Book Fair is the country’s leading book event — a space for literature, the publishing industry, international dialogue, and new pathways to reading.
The Fair brings together publishers, authors, readers, booksellers, libraries, Russian regions, cultural institutions, media, and international partners. Here, books become more than objects of reading: they become a language for discussing the future of culture, education, the publishing industry, and society.
The Moscow International Book Fair has been held since 1977 and is one of the key events in Russia’s publishing industry. Over the decades, the Fair has become a meeting place for both the professional community and a broad readership, as well as a platform for presenting new books, discussing industry developments, strengthening international ties, and promoting a culture of reading.
